 No one knows the doctor's name. In the credits for the first,second,third,fourth and ninth doctors they showed the credits  Doctor Who and then say the person who acts as him. The tenth doctor (David Tennant) said to Queen Victoria that his name was Jamie McCrimmon but that was the name of a old companion that might have been one of the doctor's favourites. The eighth doctor called him self Doctor Bowman to fix the Tardis, would he lie to the Tardis. The tenth doctor called him self John Smith and so did the second doctor. And the fourth Doctor I'm calling Theta Sigma because an old school friend called him that for a nickname. River Song knows the doctor's name. She also killed a good man she said it was the greatest man she ever met could there be some one greater then The Doctor But she did say she hated the doctor sometimes, how much sometimes? Anyway River Song has been in a repeated time pattern and she might of been repeatedly hating him and kills him. That might be a good series finally.
